leider beginnt es mit einer schlechten Nachricht,in Spa gibts kein 24H mehr sondern wurde auf 8h eingedampft,sehr schade.

SPA’S EIGHT WILL BE GREAT

After two successful 24-hour EWC races at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium’s round of the FIM Endurance World Championship will run over an eight-hour duration in 2024. The format change is a recognition by Warner Bros Discovery Sports, as championship promoter, that maintaining three 24-hour races on the calendar in the current economic climate is no longer achievable due to the significant financial investment required. The decision was therefore taken to run a race of eight hours duration at Spa in 2024. It is hoped the shorter distance will result in an increase of entries, including from teams new to the EWC, and a rise in spectator attendance. It is also hoped that more teams will be in a position to contest the Suzuka 8 Hours due to the costs saved by the reduction of the Spa race length. The 8 Hours of Spa Motos takes place from 6-8 June with Thursday 6 June reserved for testing. A day of free practice and qualifying is planned for Friday 7 June followed by the eight-hour race, which is due to run from 13h00-21h00 CET on Saturday 8 June.

ich denk mal,erstens die Kosten,weil es der Promoter entschieden hat,dann hofft man wohl auf mehr Nennungen und mehr Zuschauer (obwohl es weniger zu sehen gibt).

Und die eingesparten Kosten für die Teams sollen mehr Teilnehmer zur kostspieligen Reise nach Suzuka ermuntern.

Vielleicht hätte man auch mal ein anderes Format machen sollen,z.B. 12 oder 16 Stunden...

Modified bikes and exhaust pipes are prohibited.
Motorbikes producing flames out of the exhaust, with or without exhaust cones, are prohibited.
Motorbikes destined for scrap are prohibited.
Complete silence must be maintained between midnight and 08:00 out of respect for the riders, stewards, track personnel and local residents.*
*Anyone failing to comply with the rules is informed that activities resulting in noise nuisance are liable to incur fines starting at EUR 68. In the event of repeated noise nuisance, fines of between EUR 1,500 and 15,000 may be imposed along with one year's imprisonment (Article L.1336-1 of the French Code of Public Health and Article 222-16 of the French Penal Code).

was für ein Auftakt...

Suzuki hats trotz Sturz in der Anfangsphase noch umgedreht und gewonnen.

BMW mit Konstanz und nur kleinen Problemchen auf zwei.

und YART auf drei,eigentlich ein schönes Ergebnis,aber die hätten gewinnen können/müssen.

Alle Trainings dominiert,von der Pole gestartet mit einer Runde Vorsprung in die Nacht gefahren und mit 4-5 Runden rausgekommen.

Dann leider ein blöder Fehler von Hanika,der ca. 10 Runden gekostet hat,aber noch Platz drei geholt.
